Every time I call to see Dr. Harris he is "out of the office" and I am shuffled to a physicians assistant. On my last visit I arrived 30min before my appointment and they were still 30 min late getting me in. While I sat in the waiting room I saw everyone that arrived after me be taken back to be seen. I was not a walk in, I had an appointment. What is the point of making an appointment if you can't be seen on time and what is the point of having a regular doctor if he is always "out of the office"?
I have been a patient of Dr. Griggs for many years and could not be happier. If I call the office, I ALWAYS get a return call. The staff is friendly and professional. I have read some comments about the front staff laughing and joking around.... Well I think that is FABULOUS!!!! Shows they enjoy their job. I have been a Registered Nurse for 20 years (never for a doctors office), so my standards are high. This practice mets my high standards. Waiting for over an hour in the waiting area for Dr Fisher. Not waiting for exam room in the waiting room.
Sorry folks but I have been going there for many years and have never had the things y'all are saying happen to me. Dr. Harris is an amazing man and in my opinion, and I think I deserve one after all the years I have gone there, it's all sour grapes. If you aren't happy where you go then go somewhere else but be a decent person and quit bad mouthing hard working professionals that are working for our health. Now go ahead and beat me up.
Never have waited more than 10 minutes, they have help my appt. when I was running late. Yes they are busy, but Dr. Hawks always spends at least 15 to 20 minutes with me answering everything I know, and I;ve never not been called back that day but once, because she wasn't in the office for the nurse to check with.
It's been about 4 hrs since I called the nurse line and no one has called me back. Unacceptable.. I will more than likely have to go to Urgent Care since my so called doctor hasn't called me back. All because the new meds I was prescribed doesn't work. I should've known they wasn't going to work.. The day they were prescribed, I Went there for a very bad migraine.. Waited about an hr.. I would have to say a no star, the girls behind the front counter, sit back and snicker at the patients. When you do have an appointment you still wait an hour to be seen, they over book appointment times. And then have drug reps take a lot of time up. The girls in the front need to stay off their phones, and stop laughing and joking around with each other.
Unfortunately it wouldn't let me do a one half a star. Their scheduling calendar does not go out 90 days even though some folks are required to have an appointment every 90 days. So I have to wait six weeks to see a doctor for a meds check. The first person there no other patient in the office and I wait 30 minutes and the doctor does not show for meds check up and I'm in the wrong? Wow Kevin Griggs!
