RecommendedMy husband and I recently moved from out of town and solely relied on reviews when picking a vet. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Lexington Animal Clinic! Dr. Sheets is awesome and takes the time to discuss any concerns and keeps you fully in the know. This is our first puppy and we know she has gotten the best of care here. The vet techs are extremely kind and helpful, my dog loves them a ton! I would recommend this vet office to anyone.
Dr Sheets is an exceptional vet! He is an extraordinary diagnostician and has a superb “bedside manner.” When my vet of 25 years retired I was distraught. Dr Sheets had cared for many of my animals when he worked for previous vet and I was very very impressed by his knowledge, compassion, and the level of care he provided. We decided to try this clinic because it was closer to our house. It was so clean and everyone was so nice! Dr Sheets took his time to answer all my questions. My dog Princess will definitely be back!

We started bringing our dogs to Dr Sheets last year. My pug was definitely a Senior (at 17 yo), and Dr. Sheets helped us navigate the best treatment plan for her given her age. He never forced a treatment plan on us, and was open as to how he would handle care were she his dog. About 2 months ago, the day I had dreaded for so long came. I called and left a message at 6 AM on a Monday morning that we needed to bring our girl in and say farewell. I would never even think about taking my dog anywhere else. Everyone at Lexington Animal Clinic is so nice and professional. Dr. Sheets is very thorough during his exams and is extremely knowledgeable! He’s the only vet I would ever trust with my Boston Terrier Stella.
