They’re always excepting new patients because they never will see the ones that they have. Every time I call to get my son an appointment it’s always they cannot see him for 2 days. So there DONE with Woods MD. Just got him a new doctor.
Went in for a wellness visit, I am assuming the first person I met with was a RN, she didn't introduce herself, took me into an "office" that had her personal belongings everywhere and seemed very unprofessional. Then when I get taken to another room I see an APN I've never met before after only seeing Dr. Wood once and Tammy a few times. This APN only spends about 2 minutes with me and sent me on my way. RecommendedDr. Wood and her staff are so caring and they do everything they can to get you in. I moved here a year ago and I am so thankful for them.
Was able to be seen the day I called. I spent very little time in waiting room. Staff was pleasant and professional. Dr. Wood is friendly and very attentive.
Do not I repeat do not go to this doctor if you depend on you prescriptions to actually survive. They can not even fill simple refill request. Myself and the pharmacy both have had to make multiple request everytime I need a refill and they still could not get it done. Also communication is non existant. I have called in to the office to speak directly with the doc and got nothing. I have been treated as if I just want medication because I am In pain when all i want is to know what causes it and how to fix it other than medication. On several occasions I have ran out of medicine for my breathing and so has others that go here. From day one the Hispanic nurse has been rude to me.
I have pancreatitis and I have been looking for a regular doctor to keep up with my regular visits and if I get s flare up. I went in for a first visit told her my medical history and about my 5 week hospital stay. Told her about my pain on my left side. She told me there’s no way I could have pain from pancreas on my left side, which is crazy because that’s where almost everyone with pancreatitis has pain. I went to WoodMD for the first time today and all the ladies were SUPER nice!! I’ll be going back🤗 all my college friends, this is the place to go if you need a area doctor!!
This clinic is wonderful. I called on Thursday morning at about 8:30 am asking to be worked in because my throat was killing me. I had a fever, chills, and body aches as well. They asked if I could come right then, I was there at 8:45 a.m., sat in the lobby for maybe 1 minute before I was in a room. They swabbed my throat, came back with strep, and I was picking up my medicine at the pharmacy by 9:15 a.m. I was back home in bed by 9:30 a.m. I couldn’t believe how fast and easy the entire experience was.
