We were previously seen at Palmetto Peds and I do miss the old office a bit. But since the move they have worked out a lot of the wrinkles in the new streamlined system. I do agree they need a clearly marked sick and well patient waiting area- despite their goal of having you wait in a room instead of downstairs, because often times scheduling gets backed up. Will never take my babies here again!
Called for an appointment and it was 15 minutes before anyone answered the phone. Arrived 15 minutes early and was taken up 30 minutes past my appointment time. Then sat in the room another 30 minutes before the doctor came in. Very disappointed in the services.
Hate the new office. Very impersonal by phone and in person. Feels like a call center. And really dislike waiting in a queue to check in.
Since the merger, it is very difficult to schedule an appointment. Even when you get one you have a very long wait.
We love our Pediatrician who has been seeing my twins since coming home from NICU 8 years ago. I don't like the change/merge but I also understand why it was done. I've never had a problem getting in to see him.
