RecommendedI have always owned Leupold Rifle Scopes, Binos, Range Finder and Spotting Scopes. I have tried Vortex, Nikon, and others. I recently sent a pair of 12 year old Binos back for repair and Leupold sent a new pair free of charge with no questions asked. They are now valued at 200 dollars more than what I purchased back then and there was no up charge. Thank you so much for everything. Top-quality, American-made scopes...my Mark 5HD 3.6-18x is awesome. Not to mention the RX-2800 rangefinder - accurate and fast.
Have several new Leupold products. Just got a set of the BX5 Santiam binos and they are awesome! Great product and for a good price! The thermal optics are cool too,,,,
They won't fix their golf rangefinders 1 year after the 2 year warranty. thought I was buying the top of the line rangefinder BECAUSE of the superior optics but the display fails in these things so after the warranty period expires. They offer nothing other than a discount on a new one. Why would I waste more money on a company that won't fix their products or stand behind them? DO NOT BUY A LEUPOLD RANGEFINDER!
I own several, they are all excellent. I recently sent in 3 of my older scopes to be looked over. 2 I've had since the 90's and one I inherited from my grandfather, who had it since the 80's. Leupold's service department did a full tear down inspection and replaced multiple internals and to my eyes completely cleaned/polished the lenses, all for only my cost of shipping to them. so for under $50 I got basically 3 brand new scopes. excellent craftsmanship & warranty, made in the USA, and a solid value. can't beat that!
I have bought many Leupold products over the years and had great experiences..... until I bought a VERY expensive range finder. The lifetime warranty was still in place when I bought my GX-4i and shortly after purchase, the LCD display quit working at the top of some numbers. I made it work for awhile but finally contacted customer service and made arrangements to ship my Loopy in and was assured it could be repaired.
