Leonardtrailers.com listed a 2+1 Shadow trailer at $38,629. This trailer appealed to us for the pass-through door from the tack room and the upgraded tire rims. I texted asking if it was available and told them we were in NJ. A salesperson, Justine, informed me that in addition to the advertised price we needed to pay the freight to have it delivered to their lot. He sent me a quote showing $915 for freight. I saw a used 40' cargo trailer online and called about it for details, because I lived 2500+ miles away. I spoke with Dan Bond and asked him about the condition of the trailer, if it had any leaks, or any other issues that I'd need to address. Dan went out and took several additional photos, said that the brakes and bearings were done, tires were good and there was a spare and everything worked. Fred called Danielle about a trailer from work. He sent me to look at the few she had in stock. She was awesome. She met my daughter and I at the door. She took us out to see the trailers while comparing each one and taking pictures for my husband. We made a deal on one while my husband was on his way.
