MD Remia and the ENTIRE surgical team, especially the nurses were outstanding! The kindness, compassion, communications and knowledge displayed was impressive and extremely comforting. Everything went exactly how MD Remia explained from my office visit to the surgery. MD Remia’s bed side manner, communications skills and personality was outstanding. Great Job!
Pre op visit before surgery
Dr. Remia was excellent in spending time with my husband. He explained that he needs to explore other options to see if his knee pain can be improved without jumping right to surgery. His patience and attitude was excellent. Thanks to Dr. Remia !
Dr. Remia has shown over the years just how professional and knowledgeable he is. He answers all of my questions in a clear precise way. He shows an abundance of patience, and my five years with him have been exceptional. I would gladly recommend him to both family and friends.
Be advised that if you are appreciably overweight and need surgery, Dr Remia will NOT operate on you until you lose weight. I am not exactly a candidate for My 600-Lb. Life; I weigh LESS THAN HALF of that by many decades. Still, I am significantly above my ideal weight, and of a BMI that his PA knew would not be acceptable to Dr. Remia – or apparently to any other doctor in this practice. They will refer you to a doctor at New England Baptist in Boston.
Dr. Remia performed a total left hip replacement and I am so grateful for his expertise!!! He did the non-invasive surgery....don't know why more doctors don't perform this type of surgery!! I was walking in 2 days with a walker, my recuperation was speedy and almost painless. I would highly recommend Dr. Remia....my knees will be next!!

I highly recommend Dr.Remia based on the excellent results I had after total hip replacement with anterior approach. Prior to surgery I had severe hip discomfort resulting in very painful ambulation. I had to take a leave of absence from work as an RN prior to the surgery. The surgery went great,I was able to be discharged the next day after surgery. After physical therapy with Caleb at Capecod orthopedics. I was able to return to work full time as an RN. I am completely painfree after 1 year
I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with this Doctor and the staff. Dr. Remia was patient friendly. Good bed side manner, professional and explained everything to me. The process was all positive and I HIGHLY recommend this doctors office !!! Thanks !!!
