I had an outstanding experience at Leonard Cancer Institute, and I want to especially thank Samantha, who performed my ultrasound. She was warm, professional, and incredibly compassionate from start to finish. She explained everything clearly, made sure I was comfortable, and treated me with genuine kindness and respect. Trying to reach the infusion center is impossible. Rings and rings then disconnects. Or if you do get through you get a recording to leave a message. Are there really people there assigned to answer and schedule??There must be a better way.
Belinda and the team at Leonard Cancer institute are untrustworthy and engage in deceptive billing practices. They charge exorbitant amounts well beyond usual and customary rates, then attempt to balance bill patients for whatever insurance won’t cover. When you ask basic questions, such as what billing codes are being used, they claim they don’t know or can’t provide the information. I do not recommend this place.
Absolutely a wonderful experience, during a loved ones cancer treatments. The staff is amazing! Every interaction has been filled with support and caring.
I was here in fall of 2024 for an endoscopy and colonoscopy procedure. Before the procedure, I was being prepped in a large room with dozens of beds and other patients. The nursing staff allowed a “CNA IN TRAINING” to practice IV insertion on me. They watched and giggled as he dug around in my hand and blew my vein out. I had to be the one to tell him to get away from me. I get nauseous often thinking about it and it’s been almost 2 years since it happened.
