My order was for a pair of glasses online, using my vision insurance. To my mistake I used an expired prescription. They sent me a note saying they needed an updated prescription in order to proceed. I would need some time to get that to them. Yet, they ended up creating the lenses and sending the glasses out to me anyways. Since this was obviously made by mistake I returned the order. This should not have been filled in the first place but the incompetence of this team did so anyway. Regardless I was told they’d need 10-15 ... read more
I sent my sunglasses to the Luxottica repair department in August of 2020. The repair department lost my glasses. I was offered a coupon to replace the sunglasses that the repair department would not be returning to me. I paid the $249.00 to initiate a non-warranty repair. I sent a certified letter to the corporate office in October, 2020, today, without any response from Luxottica. The coupon that was offered to me to replace what was lost/stolen, does not allow me to purchase a similar style and brand that I sent in to be ... read more
I purchased a pair of glasses about a year in a half ago. Just after a year I noticed light scratches and the coating was coming off. I took them back to the store and the only way I can get them fixed is to PAY for another eye exam, what a scam!! I just wanted to get back the glasses I paid for. I am certain I could see better than the employee trying to read my receipt. How is it you spend over 500.00 with all the lens coatings and they only last 1 1/2 years?? This is ****poor customer service. I am looking to see if I can... read more
I went in last weekend to see if the employee could simply bend my glasses a bit, they have stretched out since the last time I had them bent. Anyways she greeted me, asked what I needed, I said I would like the frames bent a bit and the arms tightened and mentioned the lens are scratched. I spent around $600 on perception lenses and another couple hundred on the frames. The employee said not a problem. Pulled up my profile off my phone number and also pulled up my wifes phone number. Both having profiles with Ray Ban. She s... read more
Pearle Vision Store #8796 Office#7777 1450 Park Manor Blvd Pittsburgh, PA. 15205 (Robinson Twp) Christopher S***** O.D. Bought two pair of progressive glasses. Charged me $39.00 for a retinal scan I opted out of. Charged me $75.00 each for 'blue light' lenses they told me I would not pay anything for, $150 total. My vision insurance pays for progressive lenses IN FULL (yes it is fantastic) Pearle Vision charged me $28.00 on the one pair and $23.00 on the second pair. My vision insurance pays for frames at $130.00 up to $170.... read more
The WORST! Run far away! Falsely said that ******would cover at least part of my eye glasses in July 2020. Spent $800 on entire visit, filed claim in July and today, October 22, 2020, was turned down because my eye care center was not "credentialed." Am a senior citizen and on ssi. Horrible company. I am appealing to higher officials and complained to BBB. These people are thieves and took full advantage of a senior citizen! Stay tuned......
Worst transaction ever! Paid 200$, then they asked for more due to issues from the 1st purchase. I paid 120$ extra and 3 days later, they emailed and called saying the lenses are not available and I had to do something else or call my doctor for a new Rx. I asked for a refund 5 days ago of 325$ and of course I am still waiting for the money. DO NOT GET YOUR CONTACTS FROM THIS POORLY RUN BUSINESS.
Luxottica is by far the worst company I have ever come across when it comes to customer service. I purchased the wrong-sized replacement lenses for my Ray-Ban sunglasses. I returned them and waited for the credit back to my credit card. It never came. I contacted their email and finally received a response that they would credit me in 2-3 days. They didn't and then had the nerve to recharge me again for the lenses that I had now returned. I have been double-charged now and still no one returns emails and there are no humans ... read more
I called Lenscrafters @2 p.m. on September 28th because I checked the prices of the frames with prescription lenses and the cost (without using insurance) was 580.01. The price of the very same lenses and frames (with insurance) was priced at $796.02. Using the insurance option, Lenscrafters said I was getting a "Discount" of $255.55. When I called, I spoke with an agent named Andrew. He had to reach out to his supervisor to find out why the cost of the frames and lenses was $216.01 HIGHER when USING my insurance. The "reaso... read more
