I ordered a pair of glasses from glasses.com, Oakley socket 5.5 with progressive lenses. I was amazed with the great price I got. Later, I read reviews of the site, and almost cancelled the order due to all the bad reviews. I am so glad that I did not! I got the glasses in just a little over a week. And they are perfect. Prescription is right on the money. The lenses seem very good, even though they cost a lot less than LensCrafters. The frames are perfect. I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews, but had to this time... read more
So disappointed - after owning over 15 pair of their sunglasses, I tried an on-line purchase. I bought 2 pair, returned both (one of them was not what I ordered) and it was only after filing a case with ****** that I got my refund after almost 2 months. Then, I tried it again, ordered one pair, and never received it. Tracking on the package is different every time I look at it. Again, filed a case with ****** - got my refund in less than 24 hours. (Guess they don't want *** ***to drop them). So - this being 2021, I assumed a... read more
I purchased 2 pair of frames from LensCrafters Carolina Place Mall location on Dec 31 2019 to use my flex spending dollars. They have obviously lost the glasses and refuse to replace them. I did not pick them up initially in January/February no excuse but is our super busy period at work. Suddenly March rolled around and so did COVID.At which point I had no desire to venture out of the house as I am sure most people can relate to. I began calling them about 2 months ago to check on the status of my frames. They did not have ... read more
Lenscrafters, Wyoming Valley Mall, Wilkes Barre, PA 18702 was a poor experience. The staff person I dealt with was incompetent and unethical. I followed up with the store manager regarding my concerns but was surprisingly disappointed when he didn't care to hear this or resolve it. I escalated the matter to corporate but, despite multiple requests to have the Regional Manager call me to discuss it, I simply received an abrupt email reply that did not address my concerns - simply stating "We do apologize for this inconvenienc... read more
My order was for a pair of glasses online, using my vision insurance. To my mistake I used an expired prescription. They sent me a note saying they needed an updated prescription in order to proceed. I would need some time to get that to them. Yet, they ended up creating the lenses and sending the glasses out to me anyways. Since this was obviously made by mistake I returned the order. This should not have been filled in the first place but the incompetence of this team did so anyway. Regardless I was told they’d need 10-15 ... read more
I sent my sunglasses to the Luxottica repair department in August of 2020. The repair department lost my glasses. I was offered a coupon to replace the sunglasses that the repair department would not be returning to me. I paid the $249.00 to initiate a non-warranty repair. I sent a certified letter to the corporate office in October, 2020, today, without any response from Luxottica. The coupon that was offered to me to replace what was lost/stolen, does not allow me to purchase a similar style and brand that I sent in to be ... read more
I purchased a pair of glasses about a year in a half ago. Just after a year I noticed light scratches and the coating was coming off. I took them back to the store and the only way I can get them fixed is to PAY for another eye exam, what a scam!! I just wanted to get back the glasses I paid for. I am certain I could see better than the employee trying to read my receipt. How is it you spend over 500.00 with all the lens coatings and they only last 1 1/2 years?? This is ****poor customer service. I am looking to see if I can... read more
I went in last weekend to see if the employee could simply bend my glasses a bit, they have stretched out since the last time I had them bent. Anyways she greeted me, asked what I needed, I said I would like the frames bent a bit and the arms tightened and mentioned the lens are scratched. I spent around $600 on perception lenses and another couple hundred on the frames. The employee said not a problem. Pulled up my profile off my phone number and also pulled up my wifes phone number. Both having profiles with Ray Ban. She s... read more
