I've been eating Lem's since the late 90's after searching the city for some great BBQ. I turned my wife (who is a lifelong Westsider) on to this South Side bbq joint and she has been in love ever since. My favorite is the tips but lately the meat has changed and it has been boney and fatty. So I switched up to the center cut which is awesome. By the way Lem's, can I have your recipe so I don't have to travel from the west side. :)

Very salty last night i went and got my money back that was my first time having a bad experience i was told that they apply the seasoning with there hands and that its was an accident but they do have good barbeque

I been going to lems since I was old enough to eat ribs. My parents only bar b que place they ever ate from and I keep the tradition going. Had a center cut and small-tip/link combo. It was very seasoned and wasn't disappointed at all. My favorite all time place to go LEMS

Every time I'm in Chicago I have got me some of those ribs tips and I'm never disappointed

With the lack of superior BBQ in NWI for the last several years, I have been left wanting, only to get my fix once a year at Miss Piggy's booth at the Lake County Fair. Too much grease in the bottom of the carton. Never had this before with Lem's. I've been going here over 40 years.
