My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at the Lemon Wolf Cafe recently. We were warmly greeted and presented with coffee and a menu that we found quite exciting. After finally deciding on breakfast, we had the opportunity to meet Chefs Jon and Mike during our stay. Then the food came! the cafe was amazing! the food was mouth watering and the portions were huge! well worth the stop. I'm glad my boyfriend got pulled over and the state trooper recommended the place!
3 friends and myself had the pleasure of stopping for supper. we all had a 2in thick steak cooked to perfection!! amazing isn't a strong enough word. I live 7 hours away and we are talking about going back to the north shore in 2 weeks just to eat at the Lemon Wolf Cafe.
An unexpected little gem of a restaurant on the north shore. After a day of taking in Fall’s finale of color we were welcomed by friendly staff. Catch of the day, herring, and walleye were great choices. Both pan seared with special herbs. Topped off by the very first serving of a new dessert served by owner and lead chef. I’m not sure they’ve even named it yet. Served in a mason jar...layers of apple bread, house made whipped cream, caramel, more whipped cream and nuts...SPLENDID!
Great food and drinks! Awesome service from staff!! I left my jacket and she met me there on her off day so I could head back to Duluth with my jacket!!
The staff is outstanding making you feel welcome. John, the owner and chef prepares excellent fare. Highly recommended
