In my opinion 65 1 star reviews should be a warning.. A friend of mine, who travels to take bloodwork for an insurance company, noticed harsh treatment of a resident. Companies want a bottom line by not hiring enough qualified workers. So residents pay the price.😢

Writing this because today (3/18/25) a request for crackers was the last straw. I've been at South Pointe since January,  gave a "good review" awhile back, and thank God I'll be leaving this Saturday 3/22/25 (I've worked out hard physically to get out of here). Mind you, there are some good people here but the bad definitely outweighs the good. Here's the honest rundown: 1. They are consistently out of milk and or "dry cereal." 2. this facility's Managment and social services a seriously faulty as to how they handles taken and lost items belonging to residents or their family. I tried resolving this several times via email and phone messages left to management and not one was returned, LV social worker finally responded to only say they had given someones very used blanket onto my relative who did not purchase the blanket that was taken. It was LV staff that had removed it to be washed because a nurse there had not taken care of my relative in a timel... read more

In the past this was a nice place but now, it’s not the place to send your love ones. Earlier this year, I had my father transported there and what did I do that for. For one, I purchased him two pair of house shoes (black/brown), pajama pants, shirts, t-shirts, sweat pants, socks, underclothes, toiletries, a navy blue blanket and his two favorite old sweatshirts. Mind you I put his name on EVERYTHING. When I had the opportunity to go to his room, he only had the old sweat shirts, a couple of shirts and someone else’s cloth... read more

I have to give this place a five star review. This nursing facility has left a special place in my heart forever. I have lived here for a year and I have never felt such a sense of family at any other nursing facility. The workers from corporate on down work with one common purpose, to give the residents the best home environment. There are activities that are equal to what residents would be doing in the community. If you want your loved one to be in a place that they can call home this is where you will want them to live.
