Dr.z knows her stuff when it comes to lyme disease.Lyme is complicated and so is the treatment once it is disseminated. Insurance doesn't pay for visits because our health care system is broken and because of outdated political guidelines put out by the IDSA.
If you have something wrong that no-one else can figure out, she is the doctor for you. She is a regional Lyme disease expert. Her treatments aren't understood by other doctors because she routinely attends Lyme disease conferences in the NorthEast (where Lyme started) where emerging treatments are discussed and not privy to the general physician population. Oh, and she is very nice and caring.
I was a patient of Dr. Z's when she was in her old office in Fairfaz. That place was user friendly. When Dr. Z moved to her new office, things changed, she changed. She went from a very caring, supportive physician to one who appeared to be chasing the dollars. Confidential medical information was discussed at the front desk. She was less than supportive about patients who were paying high insurance premiums and then had to pay out of pocket to see her. The two exam rooms that she uses are decorated with either angels or chi... read more
I first want to start of by saying that Dr. zackrison is the most loving and carin human being I know. She puts her heart and soul into helping all of her patients. If some of you only knew how much time was spent. People are so quick to focus on the negative but I'm willing to bet my life that most of you that have seen dr.z are in a better condition then you were before working threw her office doors. Yeah she may not accept insurance and all of her potential patients are aware of that before scheduling an appt. Look at it... read more
One has to wonder if this doctor over diagnoses Lyme Disease? She also cares about scoring the money. She sold me vitamins, supplements that made me very sick. She asked me several times how much money I have. I felt that my doctor /patient relationship with her was dependent on how much I spent buying atternative supplements. She would push these therapies on my like a bulldozer when I came to see her.To this day, I don't know if I really have lyme disease.I have met other patients of hers (3) who were told they have lyme di... read more
she almost killed my husband. she over prescribes antibotics. doctors don't respect her and other doctors begged us to not see her after my husband was hospitalized. she kept telling him he would die unless he listens to her. she also lost her patients with us and staff for no reason. lady is a loose canon.
She has been treating me for 3 years for chronic Lyme disease but has not yet cured it. I have recently experienced some improvement. I wish I was healthy. She has a very holistic and homopathic approach but is expensive and no longer accepts any insurance.
I like Dr. Z. She dignosed my after suffering for over three years with no answers from other docs. The first doctor I saw was an endocrinologist who diagnosed me with the "Non-Diagnosis Diagnosis" *fibromyalgia.* I had no tender points, no trigger points, even a DC rheumatolo9gist told this doctor he thought me problem was something else, yet he had firm to this diagnosis and drugged me into oblivion on valium, xanax, ativan, demerol, darvocet, zanaflex, flexeril, mobic, lunesta, ambiem etc --simultaneoulsy-- I am suprised I ... read more
Dr. Z treats Lyme which in itself is an issue to the medical world. Some say chronic Lyme does not happen, and yet the thousands that have it know first hand it does. She does push hard to treat aggressive, Lyme can really kick back. I like it that she recognizes that her treatment protocol is out of the normal medically recommended treatment protocol, she cares, she works her cute butt off to take care of as many of us as she can, so you see a RN who is getting an extensive training on Lyme from Dr.Z - believe me the RN wor... read more
