I certainly hope people band together and close your clinic. You are a terrible person. You are not a vet but a greedy, uncaring person. You could have found a home for the dogs. I cant believe you killed two healthy dogs. What did you get out of doing that? No money and a lot of bad publicity. Those poor dogs.
KILLER!!!!!! He killed two dogs because owners couldnt pay their bill. Not only that, donations were offered and ACCEPTED before and AFTER he killed them. NO EXCUSE!!!!!!
I am a volunteer with Doc and Yes Dr. Griebel put two dogs down last week, but not ONLY for the reasons stated below. Yes the family could not pay their bill, but they abandonned the dogs and their home. They were sent the proper paperwork which was returned to the hospital postmarked "Vacant Property / Unable to forward". Your actions were deplorable in the case of the owners who couldnt pay the boarding fee on thier pets. You have now been heard of far and wide in the pet and rescue communities (I am a resident of ON, Canada). I hope that local residents understand the magnitude of your actions but I hope that when business drops and you find yourself in the same dire financial straights as the family that entrusted two healthy dogs to you, no one sees fit to penalize you by killing your pets. It is hard to believe this so called vet. and the employees could do this to 2 dogs over money, it makes me sick to think humans could sink to this low level. and as far as them accepting money from the public to help care for these animals makes each and everyone of them the lowest form of life!!!. They should definitely be charged with a criminal act.And please everyone, pass this on to all. news stations, radio stations, and the licensing board of Florida . we need to make sure they are shut down now.
There is no reason for what this doctor did. The Nokill movement is all over the US. He deserves to be sued and lose his license. He took donations and still killed the dogs. This man is nothing short of an idiot. He took money from people and rescues before AND AFTER killing these dogs thinking he could keep the money and prove a point to people that he was in control, while getting away with it. WRONG!!!! Dr. Griebel is the best. Weve been going there for years, cats,dogs and hamsters have all been there. Weve also boarded our dogs there several times. They always take good care of them. Just a good ole country doctor, laid back, kind of quiet type. Happy to listen and throughly answer any questions.
This animal hospital should be shutdown. They killed two healthy dogs just because the owners did not have the money to pay for boarding fees. A local rescue offered to take the dogs and pay the bill but Griebel decided to kill these two dogs then took donations after the death of these two wonderful dogs. There are other Vet hospitals in Lehigh Acres that love their jobs and your pets. DO NOT SUPPORT a VET that kills for non-payment. The dogs were punished for the wrong of their master. Shame on you Darry Driebel!
