I finally changed my oncologist today. I concerned about low ratings but decided to see Dr. Leguizamo because my surgeon referred me to him. Dr. Leguizamo was very thorough at first few meetings. Once the treatment began, I felt that he couldn’t care less about my overall well-being. He rarely addressed side effects. I had to go to my PCP to deal with side effects. My father in law had visited Dr. Leguizamo in regards to cancer findings from his scans. The doctor and nurses provided very unprofessional service for my father in law. The appointments were made without any medical explanation of why they were made, they showed little to no sympathy with the way my father in law’s health was regressing. Multiple times the nurses would say that the doctor will give us a call and even till this day, we have yet to get a call from him. Does not listen, hasn’t got the time to care. Will load you up on tests only to find out he can’t figure out “what’s wrong”.
The worst doc ever. Never came to the room!
