LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a great place for the kids and extremely popular among the locals. The venue features a couple of lego rides, a 4D cinema with some excellent short films, a ninja training camp, a factory tour, a play zone, and an interactive workshop. One highlight is Miniland, a miniature model of the city of Detroit fashioned entirely from Legos. At the center is a snack counter that serves some delicious food and refreshing drinks. The facilities are clean and well maintained and the staff is very friendly. T... read more

We're very sorry you were disappointed with your visit. Is there anything we could have done differently to make your visit more enjoyable?
I believe it was overpriced and they shouldn't even sell the passes to get stamped that is a waste of money and I wish I would've known that I wouldn't have never bought them, that should come free with buying tickets. It was a lot of fun for the kids and I'm glad they had fun but for that price I don't think I would never go back

I wish I would have come on here and read the reviews before I wasted money, a lot of money at that. Everything about this place was a disappointment. My 3 boys wanted to build and race cars, have fun trying to find Lego pieces that were not broke or tires for the car. Also make sure you eat before you go unless you like spending $7 for a typical turkey sandwich! Even the new Ninjago exhibit is worthless! I would definitely recommend finding something else to do with your money!

Hi Angela - We're very sorry you were disappointed with your visit, and we appreciate the feedback. Wanted to be sure you were aware of other features at our attraction - our Master Model Builder's workshop with a new build every month, three rotating 4D movies in our theatre and MINILAND (including dozens of models of Detroit-area landmarks made entirely out of LEGO). We also focus on combined play experiences for kids and adults. We encourage guests to buy our activity pack or download our free app, which both contain grea... read more
Unorganized. The one we went to in AZ had way more organization and attendants for each Center to make sure it was picked up and not a disaster. Especially the jungle gym area... kids were trampling over others because it was packed. The AZ one had so many at a time and made sure the kid left with a parent/guardian. Long wait times for rides...

It was nice to experience. Eric had fun who was 6. My daughter who was 9 was buried. So it's average. I thought there would be more to it a land larger then what it was. I'd say 7 and younger is when you need to bring your kids. But I hope now after year 2 they go back to the drawing board and add on and bring fresh ideas.

We took our boys on Saturday after out visit to Sea Life. No, it isn't a cheap attraction. No , it isn't for the adults. Everyone that is leaving pissy reviews knew that going in. Of course it was busier because it was a weekend. When did everyone become so entitled and feel they're deserved instant gratification? Our children learned a valuable lesson of patience and waiting your turn while having a fantastic time!! THE 4D movie was enjoyable, earthquake tables were fun and we had a great time during the master builder clas... read more
Took the Grandsons. They were forward to this visit since the holidays. They had a blast and we also enjoyed it, even though it is definitely for kids the adults seemed to enjoy because the kids were having a time of their lives. Perfect area for the little ones and they all got along from the thousands of Legos they could get their little hands on. I myself was wondering how many Legos were in that one area? I can't forget the aquarium visit that too was an adventure for the 4 of us.
