Legoland Discovery Center Michigan

About this business

LEGOLAND Discovery Center is a great place for the kids and extremely popular among the locals. The venue features a couple of lego rides, a 4D cinema with some excellent short films, a ninja training camp, a factory tour, a play zone, and an interactive workshop. One highlight is Miniland, a miniature model of the city of Detroit fashioned entirely from Legos. At the center is a snack counter that serves some delicious food and refreshing drinks. The facilities are clean and well maintained and the staff is very friendly. T... read more

My son loved it! The Lines weren't to bad, only complaint was the food prices were a bit overly priced for a sandwich. Lot's of cute attractions, would go again for sure.

Business response:

Thanks for your feedback, Delena. We're glad you enjoyed your visit.

Spent just over $70 for 3 people to go thru. The laser ride broke twice while we were there. The last master builder class was full and we were turned away. My kids are a bit old for this 10 and 14 but as Lego lovers...it was worth trying. The time spent with my kids and the Detroit city scape were the best parts for me. Overpriced but staff was nice. If I have to pay full price for everyone...staff had better give me a free lego block too. Which they didn't until I asked. :( Overall a nice memory.

Business response:

Thanks for leaving a review, Dana. We try our best to fix the rides as soon as possible when they go down.

We couldn't take off much time for Spring Break so I had to find fun, local activities for my 10 and 12 year olds. My 10 year old loved it but my 12 year old did not. Definitely best for ages 3-10. I know it was busier due to the break but the lines were terrible and unorganized. It made it difficult to see everything. The theatre was adorable and both boys enjoyed that. They both also enjoyed the castle ride (can't remember the actual name). The dinning area is a waste of space, in my opinion. I saw very little people eatin... read more

We went to Legoland for our first time this week. We had combo tickets for sea life as well! My girls (8 & 6) had a great time! They enjoyed the rides, miniland, Ninjago training, and the movies. We went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch (had reservations!), continued to Sea Life, and the girls wanted to go back to Legoland to play! It was really neat! Very interactive! I was impressed because they really did a lot with the space they have, since they are located in the mall!

Thanks for leaving a review! We're so glad you enjoyed your visit and we hope you visit us again soon! :)

While my grandson (5 years old) LOVES this place, I feel adults should get in at a discounted price. It's a nice little rainy day place to go to, but way too expensive when you have 4 adults and 1 child looking for a day of family fun. We live about an hour away and decided to make it an overnight adventure so we could go swimming at the hotel later, so spending an additional $100 to watch children run around (it was really crowded) was a bit much. We later ate in the food court and he spent two hours having fun for free! LO... read more

Business response:

Thank you for leaving a review, Victoria. We do focus on combined play experiences for kids and adults. We encourage guests to buy our activity pack or download our free app, which both contain great build ideas that guests can participate in with children to enhance their visit. Hope this helps, and thanks again for the feedback.
