After we exhausted many avenues to get answers from Legacy Housing Corporation with no results, we are asking the BBB for Mediation to solve this matter. Mr. ****** ***** scheduled an inspection on 04/28/2021, @ 11AM, to inspect several mobile homes in the Horseshoe Bay Community at Marble Falls, Texas. ****** ***** swear on his life that, his multi-million dollar company wasn't going to cheat me on a $600.00 trip charge fee. Legacy Housing Corporation disagrees with this characterization of its transaction with **** ***** and RCI Enterprises. RCI was requested to complete an inspection on properties owned by Legacy, with the understanding that RCI would be paid if retained to complete work on those same properties. It quickly became apparent to Legacy personnel on the scene that RCI lacked the qualification to complete an inspection on a HUD-code manufactured home, and so would not be retained to complete any work on these Legacy homes. Must have had some real cheap labor crews on this one, Legacy Homes! Hoping the 15 items on my punch list gets fixed,but not holding my breath if it depends on the dealer I bought thru, Heritage Homes in *** ********, Tx. !!! Worst bunch to deal with after I paid cash for my 2020 model. They were good till they got their money,,now no communication from them! While I love the layout of my Legacy home, I would have to advise people to be extremely cautious when choosing to purchase one. We have had a number of issues after purchasing new, with the biggest being extraordinarily poor quality flooring, which we now have to replace ourselves, and plumbing problems that could not be properly resolved. Finally, in order to fix the problem, a 3” pipe was run up the full outside height on the back of our house, which is certainly ugly and Legacy claimed they have never had to do before.
