RecommendedI just read where they are closing this Hospice House. My brother is in the final stages of Alzheimer's and his wonderful wife has taken such amazing care of him over the last years since diagnosed. They live in Bend, and recently she was able to get a few days away to visit family and take care of her own needs due to a hospice house there. Knowing how much good that was to both of them...I hate to see to see the loss of this place here.
Working on an ambulance, we considered this the one-way trip destination. The staff was always very nice & willing to explain things in great detail to our crews & the patients family. If I ever end up on hospice, I can only hope my family lets me go there.
My brother spent his last few days at Hopewell House Hospice before succumbing to pancreatic cancer. Thanks to the kind and competent staff (doctor, nurses, CNAs, aides, volunteers), his transition was as tranquil as possible. The hospice team made sure my brother was comfortable and also showed caring support for his friends and family. Thank you, all, for being angels.
My dear friend of 32 years lost her battle with Pancreatic cancer today. Hopewell House, you are a kind, caring, warm group and I thank you for allowing my friend to pass with dignity and surrounded by love. � You are all amazing!
My mother was brought here as her final resting place.The staff here at the Hopewell House greeted us with open arms and are amazing and carrying compassionate people. After my mother's passing this morning they performed there own ceremonie as my mother body was being loaded up the Crown Memorial. We love them for how they treated us and how beautiful this place is for patients final resting place.
