I am really surprised with this hospital. An order was sent for an MRI. And I called basically all day. No one picks up the phone, leave messages and no one call back. Long story short I had to call my primary care provider to send to another hospital and within minutes I was already scheduled.
Holy Cow this has got to be one of the worse places I have ever been to. It’s lie a jail.

There is no cartilage left. Due to a series of snafu's my right hip (also arthritic) was treated with a steroid injection in Salem but they had no time for my left hip steroid injection before my insurance runs out on 3/31/2025. I went in for imaging because my stupid insurance required X-rays and 6 weeks PT- I cannot do PT And it is not going well…I have had two neck surgeries and I really need an MRI and have been struggling since mid December with severe pain. Healthcare Systems in America- we have to do better! My doctor ordered a bone density scan. Here’s my experience: - Sept 2024: I called to schedule it. I held for >30 mins each time before leaving a message. Several days later a scheduler left me a voicemail to call back, and the process repeated. Three times. I sat on hold for 52 minutes on call #4 to speak to a person, who said “we don’t do that type of exam at Legacy.” I asked isn’t it a DXA bone density scan?
