What a joke... my best friend, literally, killed himself trying to make this ignorant institution happy. The President reached out to seem sincere; what a hoax. "Hey! We'll have a Memorial Service you can attend." Oh, no... your schedule didn't fit? Oh, you can't make a two day notice laboratory dedication (from one of the other professors)? Whoops. Give your money to ANYONE else. LMC is a joke... Lee King is a bigger joke. I hope this little, idiotic college finally bankrupts.

The best place to work learn live breathe grow
Beautiful area, quaint campus with about 600+ full time enrollment with another 200-300 part time. Nice little town in the mountains of North Carolina. I ran out of gas in the middle of the road on a steep S curve and weirdly, my rent car locked up, would not go into neutral, and could not be moved (causing a real log jam of traffic).!Within one minute, several people offered assistance ... some offered rides to and from gas station 3 or 4 miles down the mountainside or to area businesses that might have gas cans. I graduated from LMC IN 1969!!! 1ST TIME back 2 Banner Elk in 30 years! The changes at College & town R amazing! 50 years ago this was a One Stop light town, still only 1 light but so many stores, restaurants! Love this place 50 years ago & today 2019!!
Beautiful location and small enough to get to know most everyone.
