Small .... yet very beautiful campus . My son really likes it
Can anyone tell me why? Lees-McRae did away with the football team, there was nothing more awesome than looking from the bleachers over to the visiting side and seeing the Autumn colors in the background great memories
We visited LMC over the weekend, Homecoming, women's & men's soccer games, and tailgating with family. Our son attends, freshman, and is doing very well adjusting to college life. He's enjoying LMC tremendously! It's a great school and life in our beautiful NC mountains is second to none! LMC folks did a great job prepping and executing the Homecoming activities! Both LMC soccer teams won their games - yea! The play Addams Family was a great production! Enjoyed it all! Thank you LMC folks!
My wife and I spent a weekend in Banner Elk to watch my daughter and the rest of the Bobcats Mountain Bike Team race at the High Country MTB Challenge, hosted by Lees-McRae Cycling. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at this event. The campus is beautiful, and the MTB trails are fantastic. The cycling team was friendly and welcoming, the team camaraderie was strong, and the races were exciting. We are very happy that we traveled from the Boston area to attend this event.
The campus is just beautiful and everyone was extremely nice and helpful during our tour. My daughter fell in love with the school and hopes to attend next year.
