Last Tuesday my HVAC stopped working late afternoon. I have a system fault displayed on my thermostat. I have a maintenance contract with Lee Company and I contacted them. A tech showed up fairly quickly and diagnosed that I have a leak in the txv. He said he'd call first thing in the morning to find the part. I called the tech in the morning to let him know I still had a warranty on the HVAC system. He said he hadn't called anyone yet about the part, but he would after he finished his current job. Professional installation with polite and thoughtful tech. It looks great! Very happy I did this with Lee Co.
Charged me $79 without isolating the cause of the problem. If you want them to replace both parts that might have gone wrong, it's another $1512. Find a more experienced company to service your American Standard HVAC.
