I was completely disappointed by the kennel. I was told that it would cost $100 to board two dogs overnight. When my mother arrived home with the dogs in tow and handed us the bill it was $275. They charged us $45 per dog for a fecal exam without our permission, charged us $27 per dog for nail clippings, and charged us $16 per dog to let them out of their cages. It was outrageous. I have been boarding my dogs at the Ledgebrook Kennel for over 15 years, and I have always been amazed at the quality of care that my dogs have received. The only complaint I would have is that the kennel is so popular that a reservation has to be made many weeks in advance; this is the first choice for boarding for most of the people in this area, including many of my friends and neighbors. took our dog there over a month ago for the first time & last. no pick up hrs on sunday AM. they charge you the whole day even if you pick up within their window---without notifying you---that's $40 you can tack on. i complained & they offered to refund the day AND the bath (which i agree is excessive and said they didn't have to, just the $40) and no one--and i've spoken to 3 people including two that called themselves managers--knew/knows how to refund credit cards.
