Just returned from a weekend a Leatherwood! Family owned/operated and it truly shows. We were treated like family from the moment we walked through the doors. The atmosphere cannot be beat with breathtaking views and the quiet peacefulness of the mountains. Horseback riding, hiking, and other activities right out your door. Bring your horse and ride all day on the more than 80 miles of trails or rent one of theirs. You can also live at Leatherwood in your own home if you'd like to feel on vacation every day! We enjoyed our accommodations. I would like to see better maps for the horse trails around the property. The ones we got from office are not very accurate. Was very confusing at times. Otherwise I did enjoy myself
