RecommendedWe had a great weekend at Leatherwood! We camped in our living quarters trailer and had a wonderful spot that overlooks the creek. Weather was perfect and we had a nice campfire and roasted marshmallows. Horses were in the West barn in the inside stalls. They are big horses, each over 16 hands and would not have fit in the outside stalls. The stalls were level and matted, hot water in wash pit. The 71st Highland Regiment of Foot had the pleasure of enjoying their hospitality during their Second Annual Outlander “Return to Frazier’s Ridge.”
Here as a vendor’s helper @ the 2nd annual Outlanders Gathering. Stayed in the Happy Trails cabin. So delightful. Loving the hot tub each morning and evening. The Scottish Soap House brought a lovely assortment of Soaps. Body sprays. Natural bug spray. Grab bags. Sugar Scrubs. Show special gift bags.
Leatherwood has been our go to spot for the last 12 years. We have enjoyed taking our family, friends and children there over the years.

It’s was the most amazing peaceful getaway for what started out being just me & my husband. The kids joined us later. We had an amazing time. The views; stunning. The peace & quiet; immeasurable! Relaxing, serene, and just very beautiful all around. We are already planning on coming back!!! We can’t wait. We stayed at “Three Daughters Cabin”.
We have enjoyed everything about Leatherwood Mountain Resort. What a great time! Saddle Up let’s ride!
