Dr. Leah Kern is very thorough, concise and thoughtful. She takes her time with you and always does a complete exam starting with the basics -walking each step to make sure everything is covered and addressed. The way she does her apointments is engaging and wants to make sure you feel heard and cared for. This office always responds to mychart messages the same day- signs notes and calls you back with a nurse to address concerns. I highly recommend her for your childs health care needs.
Dr. Kern is a calm, warm, and knowledgeable pediatrician. She is particularly helpful when we have questions about travel and our little guy. I would recommend her to anyone.
We have had good experiences with Dr. Kern. She has been or kids' doctor for almost 10 years and we never experienced what the other reviewers said.
If I could give zero stars I would. Please read the other one star review below. She was completely uninterested in my daughter and didn’t acknowledge her (and my adorable daughter who never wants asks to dress up, asked to wear her princess dress to the appointment. So she was extra cute that day. Dr. Kern couldn’t care less). Decided to use Dr Kern for my children based on great reviews on other sites. Plus, being a physician myself, her credentials are outstanding. Wanted kids seen at an academic center realizing this meant they may NOT see Dr Kern the majority of the time but would be seen by medical students and highly competent residents under her or other attending physicians guidance.
