I had Leafguard Gutters installed a few months ago. The system functions as advertised. Some pros and cons of my experience follow:Con: Price Questionable Sales Rep ******* -The 'call-in' to "management" for price negotiation, while I stood there, is an ugly sales tactic to push the naive customer into a purchase. The rep could have faked the call for all I know. I wanted to walk away after this, but my spouse decided to move forward with the purchase. Quote Process Too Long: -It took HOURS. Sales rep tried scare tactics (my roof will need to be completely removed to repair damage-non existent damage, btw, water in crawl space, again, non existent & pressure to sell me $14000 new installation on my whole house when I wanted simple repair & a new installation on a small out building which he totally ignored. I am 75 yrs old & alot smarter than he is, but worry about others

I have been complaining about the over flow of water on the gutters for years. And water gets in my basement and has caused damage in parts of the basement. Some times they have came out to fix it and still over flows. And some times they would not show up at all. I have plenty of vidoe's of the water over flowing filling up my window well and the water seeps throw and runs down my basement wall. I also have pictures and dates. And this is my back yard. We had Leaf Guard out last night. The representative ***** was very helpful and professional. He did not pressure us to purchase anything and was very knowledgable. He even stayed longer to help us decide on a color. We ended up going with this company due to all of the above, we have had 2 other companies out where we felt pressured and reps seemed only out for the sale. A sales rep came out and was very pushy, didn't want to allow me time to think about the purchase and insulted me when I stated that I would need to discuss with my family members before taking on their contract. He first quoted my $20,000 but with the discounts he managed to get it down to $16,000 with $441 monthly payment, then after calling his boss, he came down to $11k. ****** get a response to settle an issue with a contract. Called to delay the install for several months due to other work needing to be done. Cost of the work will delay gutters. No schedule date on contract, called the dated day of contract to cancel and have them not debit the down payment. I was told they would. They charged me several days after that date. Put a hold on it at the bank and after 2 calls still get no return calls to fix the issue. The contract is invalid anyway as it was dated 2021 but signed in 2022.

Scheduled an appointment with Leaf Guard. *** came out pretty much on time and date they scheduled. He was friendly (so I thought) and said he needed to go around my house taking videos connected to a long pole and it would take about 30 minutes. So I said no problem and just knock on my door when you're done.Second part of the story (this is where all h*** breaks loose). Short version: the rep that showed up for our appointment to give an estimate refused to provide me that estimate unless my husband was present.Long version: My mother owns a home that we (my husband and I) currently live in, and she asked me to gather estimates for a gutter repair/replacement as we have a sagging gutter on the front of the house. Never received the $100 **** gift card after in home estimate. ******** stated he was not allowed to carry them with them and would send it in the mail. ****************** will not return my phone calls inquiring as to why I have not received the card. Person answering the phone has given me every excuse imaginable.Would not recommend this company!!!
