If I could leave no stars I would. I’m sorry. Me and my husband were in town to see the beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright building and Meredith Wilson museum. Both were great! The hotel was beautiful! Very friendly staff, great food, great cocktails in a beautiful environment.
Just Wow! My husband and I ate Valentines Day dinner at this amazing, small town gem. The food surpassed our expectations! I had the salmon and my husband had the ribeye, which he said was the best ribeye he had ever eaten. Genesis was our server and she took really good care of us! Cocktails and dessert were top notch. Prices are very reasonable for an upscale experience.
We went in expecting an upscale steakhouse experience, but it missed the mark for the price. My date ordered the filet mignon well done and it came out rare. I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it came out well done. On top of that, both steaks had a strange gravy/sauce on them that wasn’t mentioned and really didn’t work. We absolutely love the Park Inn (what a gem!) and are a big fan of the bar in the basement. We love that it also has a restaurant that we can enjoy. We were celebrating a special event and went there as a family. We all chose something different off the menu and there was a lot to choose from. It feels very classy and upscale. What a nice addition to the downtown of Mason City! Great service, good food, would go again!
