Best Lamb Chops in LA! – I can't count how many times we've been there and each time I get the lamb chops entree and the brie in champagne sauce appertizer. AMAZING! Even my husband who doesn't really like lamb, will only eat thier lamb! We'll keep going back there again and again and again.
One of the Best places for Entertainment Industry Business Lunches, BEST VALUE IN LA & a Wine List like Spago's but way less expensive. – You can come here everyday and never get tired of the food. Never fails to satisfy. Everything is delicious. and it's the best place to come for Entertainment Industry Business Lunches. Have a glass of wine for lunch once in a while. They say "someone who drinks wine with lunch is in control of their days". I like that idea. :) My favorites are the Mergeuz with thin fries, or the elegant C... read more
We go once a month! – I have to admit, we usually order the same thing when we go, but it's always wonderful! I love the salad with salmon on top - and my husband loves the filet mignon. Everything is wonderfully seasoned and we love the atmosphere.
Terrible service, Overpriced, Average Food – Me and my husband were very excited to try Le Petit, since we had heard good things about it. We went on Valentines Day and it ruined our night. The wait staff was really rude, and the food was not good. It was a huge dissapointment.
Mini trip to Paris – My favorite French bistro in town. They have the standards down pat. Nothing ahead of the culinary curve, just good reliable bistro food. Boullabaise, steak frite, cassoulet, sole meuniere... you get the picture. Seating is straight out of Paris too - booth seating lines the perimeter (for the ladies, good gents) and tight tables in the center.
Wonderful food and impeccable service! – This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is cozy, but very pleasant, and the service is consistently the best I have at any restaurant in LA. This is a short review, because I really have no complaints. The food is definitely the best French food I've found without getting into the extremely expensive restaurants. I've been here many times, and it's always a great experience!
Overall Exellence – Finally, a reliable French bistro in LA! On our first visit to Le Petit Bistro, we enjoyed a prompt, courteous and tidy staff; good affordable wine; and a French Onion soup to write home about. Petit's hearty meat dishes and other stomach-warming European entrees came at a price that didn't break the bank (think about $100 for two) and the delectable dessert was big enough to share. The meal pleased me, but more importantly, my fiancee, who is VERY particular about her food. We never felt rushed for an in... read more
Bistro straight from a Paris postacard serves French fare with a California twist. – In Short High ceilings, Art Deco posters and a walled-in patio transports diners from L.A. to the Left Bank. The dulcet tones of French expatriates and Gallic wanna-bes fill the warm, welcoming space. Le Petit Bistro's menu is a Cal-French combination, with health-conscious concessions like oil-free slabs of blackened salmon and barely seared ahi. Traditional bistro dishes include grilled entrecote (rib-eye steak) and escargot slicked with g... read more
authentic French cuisine – My husband & I started going here when our daughter was in her early teens (she just graduated from College). Over the years it has had it's ups and downs, but overall it is a consisently good place to dine. The food is well above average for the price, portions are good and the service is johnny on the spot. The owners are charming in that after they see you are a regular, come over to the table, buy you a drink or give you a free desert to make sure you know they appreciate your patronage.
