Please never come to this unit for behavioral health emergencies. They are extremely insensitive to patients and visitors. Nurses were either compassionate or incompetent, not helpful or understanding. Staff lost items and seemed to have no idea how to help patients. I left multiple messages for a patient and they never received them. They have no interest in advocating for real change or healing.

I’m impressed with their professionalism, and the sensitivity of the social worker Emma, and also the Dr. I pray my son Brock is in good hands.

You could be sitting there bleeding from a huge gash in your head and while you are waiting for a CT scan the techs and nurses are sitting around you telling jokes and laughing to each other. I am so glad they take their job so seriously. At least we know how low the bar is set as far as any sense of human empathy and decency goes

When he was discharge I found out he did not have any belongings that they never came with him from Utah Valley Emergency. I never got to speak to psychiatrist even though my son signed to give permission. The safety plan where he writes coping skills he has the social worker him to come up with 3 but they did not teach him any as he never... read more
