My husband went to Lawrencville Vision Care and used my FSA spending account Visa card. The price was $388.00 for his glasses. They were so incompetent that they charged my account twice for $388.00! I called to tell them and they said they credited my Visa the EXTRA $388.00 that they charged. That was 7/21 and 7/22. My account has yet to be credited. This is causing me problems now with my account balance.

Bad Customer Service – Stopped in today to schedule appt. said to woman sitting at the front desk(glasses/greasy looking hair) I need to make a appt. for next Thurs. she looks at me and says for what? Hello - thought I was at the eye doctor! I said for my eye appt. She asks me what ins. I have and I couldn't remember right off the bat. She started to huff reminded me of a wild animal. My husband said to just ignore her she seems like something is wrong w/her. I don't care that's noway to treat someone who pays a portion of y... read more

Friendly staff – I can say that my experiences with the staff have only been good ones. They have always been friendly to me and my family members that have visited the office. Dr. Starsenic is always ready for a chat and will take the time to answer any of your questions and find the best solutions for you. The prices of the frames are a different story....I ended up going to this little place across the Childrens Hospital and Frank the owner is my new best friend. He hooked me up with a pair of D&G's that cost me less than... read more

Super Selection, Great Staff! – My friend recommended this place and boy was she right. The doctor was soooo nice and patient. The staff was fun, strong opinions about what looked good, but that's what they do for a living. The frame I liked was actually more expensive than the frame the guy showed me and the less expensive frame actually did look better! They were very knowledgeable about my insurance and helped me get a great pair of glasses w/ out breaking the bank. I would definitely recommend this place.

great doctor, cool selection – Dr. Starsenic was really knowledgeable and kind. she listened well & explained my options and prescription well. She didn't seem rushed and was willing to answer any questions I have. I also picked out my frames with dilated eyes, but it didn't bother me. I found very stylish frames without an overwhelming array of glasses like you find in some places. I don't really like having 10 pairs of glasses by different manufacturers that are almost identical except for some minor difference. I think th... read more

Ok doctor & Poor, Poor, Poor Selection – The frame selection is POOR. I previously lived in a rural community that had more "name brand" frame selection. Costs for contact fitting was high. Carefully look over your insurance benefits before heading to Lawrenceville Vision Care, unless you have $$$$ to spare

lacks customer service, but the doctor is very good – I had nearly the same response as the last reviewer. The doctor was very good, very helpful and I was happy with her. However, once it came time to choose glasses, I was surprised by their lack of men's frames. A few rows of men's frames and several shelves of women's frames. I finally found a pair I liked, and was told it would be 7-10 business days. That was 3 weeks ago. When I called last week, I was told that they should be in on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week, and... read more

Great doctor, disliked the eyeglasses specialist – I liked Dr. Staresinic as a person. She is an ultimate frisbee player so their clinic contributes financial support to the Pittsburgh Ultimate community. There were two unpleasant things that happened such that I would never go back there again. The first thing might be due to my miscommunication with the doctor. There are these eye drops they put in your eyes that make them dilate and they become very sensitive to sunlight for a couple hours. I thought I had received these ... read more
