RecommendedI cannot express how thankful I am to everyone who treated me during my recent stay. I fell ill during the weekend on 8th Dec and on Sun 9th Headed to the Pequot ER where I was seen immediately and the docs and nurses were all fantastic! I was transferred to New London and encountered a second ER which was clearly overworked and understaffed but still the care was top notch. billing is absolutely the worst I told the woman on the phone SEVERAL times what I was told by my insurance just for her to tell me that it's my fault nothing is working and to be hung up on

This ER is ridiculous. In the waiting room for over an hour, put in a room to wait over an hour, been here for almost 2 1/2 hours right now with a child having severe stomach pains. Tried saying "it's viral" like they do with everything. Had to demand for an ultrasound otherwise they wouldn't have even looked into it. Guy in the room next to us walked out saying he's been here since 4:30 this morning and still waiting. If you don't have the staff close the ER or stop admitting more patients.

If they don't have beds available to admit the patients in the emergency room making patients wait over 12 hours to be admitted they need to close the ER for admissions. It's awful how they are treating patients.
