I had such a great experience working with Jodie. She was always very professional while also being very kind and compassionate. She was prompt to answer any questions or concerns that I had throughout pregnancy. She was such a calming presence to have during labor. Sadly, I ended up having to have a C-Section. I would recommend Jodie and Lawrence Birth and Wellness to anyone considering an out-of-hospital birth. This was my third pregnancy and out-of-hospital/unmedicated birth, so I was pretty well prepared for the prenatal and delivery bits. But the birth center was not yet operational when I delivered. We had a great experience with Jodie and Lawrence Birth and Wellness. This was my 3rd pregnancy / unmedicated birth, but first experience with true midwifery care vs an OB. Visits are were not only more personal, but felt quicker and easier, even with 2 small children in tow. Delivery was truly empowering, as our team fully entrusted my body to do what we knew it could do, when it was ready. I truly had the best care that I have ever received. So patient and kind while also being informative and uplifting for me.
