I would highly recommend midwife Jodie Mayfield to any expectant mother! The care I received for my entire pregnancy and birth exceeded my expectations. She is extremely knowledgeable and skilled in her profession. All my concerns and needs were always promptly and compassionately addressed. Jodie provided thorough individualized care that made for a very smooth pregnancy and birth experience.
Had a yearly women’s wellness check up with Jodie and appreciated her considerate and calm demeanor. It felt easy and non judgmental to share my sensitive details with her. She took good care of me and I love having this option for care. She’s knowledgeable & thorough.
We had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with Jodie Mayfield and the Lawrence Birth and Wellness Center. We chose her for the promised birth center facility and insurance coverage/deductible contribution. However, at my 22-week appointment, everything changed: The birth center was not going to be finished, forcing a home birth. This meant none of our payments would go toward our insurance deductible.
