I could not recommend Jodie enough for the care I received! I started seeing Jodie around 20 weeks of my pregnancy after being shut down by a hospital for the natural delivery I wanted to achieve, even though I had a completely healthy pregnancy. She listened to my concerns, gave me advice and had lists of information I could read on anything I was worried about. Jodie and her team were amazing from the moment we decided we wanted to utilize her services. Each appointment was handled with care and I felt very safe with Jodie, even though we ended up doing a hospital birth, she was with us every step of the way.
We are so grateful for the wonderful experience with Jodie. She is calm, kind, knowledgeable, transparent, responsive, and gave us the support and confidence we needed to have an amazing pregnancy and (first) water home birth. I would choose Jodie a dozen more times if I could! Thank you for your care and expertise!
I had such a great experience working with Jodie. She was always very professional while also being very kind and compassionate. She was prompt to answer any questions or concerns that I had throughout pregnancy. She was such a calming presence to have during labor. Sadly, I ended up having to have a C-Section. I would recommend Jodie and Lawrence Birth and Wellness to anyone considering an out-of-hospital birth. This was my third pregnancy and out-of-hospital/unmedicated birth, so I was pretty well prepared for the prenatal and delivery bits. But the birth center was not yet operational when I delivered. Jodie patiently explained in great detail the two options I had: to deliver with her as my provider in a hospital or to deliver at home.
