I’ve been going to Dr. Schafer for over 25 years. He is an awesome surgeon. It has a Great bedside manner.. Hate to see him retire. He deserves it.
Dr. Shaper was very informative and thorough in his answering all of my questions. I believe he enjoys interacting with his patients.Thanks to Dr. Shaper's surgical skills, my broken hip is on the mend and feeling strong. I would highly recommend Dr. Shaper to everyone who is in need of an orthopedic surgeon.

I have been going to this practice for 65 years. Which tells you how great this practice is. I started with Dr. Goldberg then Ellis, Baudenhausen and now Dr. Schaper. He is the absolute best. He listens and takes his time with you. He is personable, kind and a great diagnostician and surgeon. And has a great sense of humor.. you can’t go wrong with Dr. Schaper!

I made an appointment concerning a knee problem. An Xray was taken and when Dr Schaper came into the exam room, he questioned where was pain what was level. After checking my knee he reviewed the Xray and explained where and what my problem is and, steps needed to take care of it. I have always been very comfortable with him any time I have needed to see him and he never rushes you.I have been a patient of Dr Schaper since 1995. I was seen in a timely manner. My concerns were addressed and I was able to get a cortisone shot. Everyone was very professional. I got good service!
