I hired Atfin Brown for a custody case and paid her to represent me in court. On the day of my hearing, she did not show up at all. The judge was visibly upset, and we had to call her multiple times from my phone during court just to try to reach her. This was extremely unprofessional and put me in a very difficult position in front of the court. I trusted her to represent me during an important custody matter, and she completely failed to do so. I would not recommend her services to anyone
Hired Ms. Brown to represent me for my divorce. Had a difficult time getting ahold of her when I had questions prior to divorce being finalized. Now that my divorce is final, I'm having issues getting the ordered monies from my ex & she is NOWHERE to be found. Will not return phone calls or emails, & is MOST DEFINITELY NOT AVAILABLE to ensure I get what was agreed upon in the divorce decree. STAY AWAY!!

I hired Aftin for a simple case of child support. I paid the retainer in full, met with her once, and was told at that meeting she's seen cases such as these resolved in 6-9 months. This surprised me, as one can be divorced in less time than that, but OK.
