High End Store, Low End Service Seemed fine initially, then our order took a few extra MONTHS because the forgot to acutally order the bathroom set we requested. Then, once arrived, it was missing a piece. We then received a call about 6 months later saying that piece was laying in their warehouse. Just overall inefficient, not to mention the 20 minutes they ignored my wife when she patiently waited for service in their showroom.
Snobby I had the same experience with the sales people at Lavish. Felt much like the scene Pretty Woman where the salesperson would not give Julia the time of day. I had the same treatment. If you are not a rich $$$$ MainLiner, do not even think of walking in their door.
Good higher end plumbing I have not had any problems with Lavish. They are separated into two businesses, on the left is the showroom for the public with what I thought were very helpful and knowledgeable sales staff. Don't bother to come here if you are happy with Home Depot $49 faucets. But if you are tired of replacing your crap, they can show you all the options that they carry, and after you have selected the fixtures that you wanted, put together a full parts list and pricing. Avoid Charlene Had an awful experience with Charlene. Rude, bad attitude, did not respond to messages. She got nearly everything in our order wrong! I was able to catch a few mistakes before the order was placed, demanded that another wrong item be corrected after it arrived and got stuck with another because it was too late to change. Lavish seems okay but stay away from Charlene. Hope you'll take this advice and avoid my sad experience.
Rude I just called this place to ask a simple question about visiting, and the woman that I spoke with was unbelievably rude. I do have a fair amount of money to spend on a kitchen and two bath renovation and liked what I saw on line, but I won't waste my money or time travelling there from Wilmington, DE after this phone call.
Customer service is lacking We made an appointment on Wed. with Charlene who said to get there between 5:30 and 6:00. We got there a couple of minutes to 6:00 and they were closed. Lights out and locked up. No call back, no sign, nothing.
Lavish I've been a customer of Lavish Plumbing Ware for years and have been consistently pleased with their selection, their service, and their fair, though not cheap, prices. Although not a "mega-store," this privately owned business has much to offer its clients plus the advantage of not having to make a trip to a mall. Ample parking is available just outside the door.
