Our visit this weekend was lovely. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sandwiches at lunch were simple but tasty. The lavender lemonade is delicious as was the brownie sunday with lavender. We very much enjoyed the butterfly garden and the grounds in general. I came home with two types of scented homemade soap and a bundle of fresh cut lavender. Our Collin County Master Gardeners Group toured The gardens yesterday! It was a perfect day! We enjoyed the tour, and the lunch was fabulous ! Thank you for a lovely day.
I drove in during the festival but didn't stay because it was so crowded. I went back the following Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it. They have amazing food and drinks at reasonable prices and the staff was amazing. They said the festival turn out was more than twice what it normally is . It is a beautiful and tranquil environment and I feel lucky to live close enough to go there often!
We took our twin granddaughters to the Lavender Ridge Farm today and really enjoyed it. We were really impressed with the gardens, store, café, plants, animals, gardens and birds. The farm is just 5 miles from us. We will be returning. Their soaps, candles, lotions, and plants for butterflies are really beautiful. Plenty of acreage and parking. We really enjoyed our visit.
The farm grounds were quaint yet had an alluring charm that absolutely made my experience one that I won't soon forget. I was able to capture some gorgeous photos and partake in the provided cafes delicious lunch options. The location wasn't very difficult to find and I hope to visit again!!
We went on Memorial Day and had a lovely afternoon -- we plan on stopping by again in the near future !!
