Horrible bedside manner. Barely spent 3 minutes during the appointment, was standoffish, and in a hurry for her next appointment. Also did not provide any helpful info. There’s a reason she has the most availability in the practice. Highly recommend going to just about anyone else!
I have seen Dr. Nagaraj for several years now. She's very knowledgeable, competent, and confident. Great "bedside manner" (empathetic, respectful, good listener, engaging, etc.) Listens well and then provides great advice, often with multiple options included.
Unlike my former skin Dr, Nagaraj seems hurried, and comes into full skin check appointments with a can of freeze, asking for (rather than looking for) spots to be removed. She seems only concerned with the spots I've identified, and doesn't look closely for things I may have missed. I'm fair-skinned and at risk, and have had squamous areas excised in the past, yet my full skin-check appointments with Nagaraj last about 3 minutes. Areas frozen off quickly return.
Dr. Nagaraj is an excellent dermatologist! When I need to see her I do not have to wait weeks to get an appointment. She does not keep me waiting in the lobby or in the patient care room. Her bedside manner is comfortable. She knows what she is doing and I trust her. Her staff is kind and caring. She /they are patient and answered all my questions. I have in the past and would again recommend Dr. Lavanya Nagaraj.

She is very knowledgeable, intelligent and caring. She takes her time to meet with you and make it easy for you to understand. She's a great doctor.
