Disappointed. I made an appointment for a consultation virtually and it was canceled without my knowledge. I never received a cancelation notification. (I received 4 emails and 3 texts confirming the appointment.) When I called to ask why my virtual session said “no meeting available” I was told that Kelly must have pushed her appointments back for the day or she must have canceled them. It was an unfortunate situation where our stylist did have to rearrange her schedule due to a last minute emergency and somehow your consultation was deleted. It’s no excuse and yes we did do our best to try and offer alternative options as soon as we were aware. Amie did such a great job! I have curly hair with a mind of its own and I have loved the cut and color I received from her! She heard exactly what I was asking for and gave me just what I wanted! She used a really cool technique of cutting layers under my curls to give my hair more volume which I thought was genius, and it really worked! I definitely recommend Amie!! And Lava Salon is awesome :)

Great atmosphere! Very professional and awesome stylists. It is not easy to move to a new city when you are a stylist yourself and are comfortable with your own co-worker/friend that does your hair.
Love this salon! Both locations are filled with the friendliest and most knowledge staff. They are flexible with last minute appointment changes and super accommodating on rebooking! Grace has been cutting mine and my husbands hair for over a year now, and she is AMAZING! Seriously, my hubs is picky and she gets it right every time!
