We didn't try this place until the last day of our vacation :( But it was awesome! The owner is extremely friendly and the coffee is AMAZING!! We can't wait to come back and have some more...until then, we will be placing an order online.
Amazing lil' coffee place right off the beach! Great peeps and really cool kids books for sale that are created by local talent! Worth stopping by for something iced or hot for sure! Mahalo �
Best coffee and iced mochas in Kihei! The coffee tastes so smooth, it doesn't need sugar and the blended ice mochas are perfect (not too sweet). We bought some beans to take home with us before leaving Maui and now we wish we bought more! Seriously excellent coffee and super friendly service. We look forward to our return every year.
Was totally bummed. Drove down to specifically get a coffee yesterday at 1 pm and today at 3 pm..... both times a note was taped to the door saying "be back in 15 minutes". Coffee is good and the people are super nice, but not being open is really disappointing.
This is my second time to the Island. I happened across Lava Java last November. The Owners Son was working and told us the history of the Family Business. We were able to go a couple more times that week! Upon our return we went back!! Great Coffee and a good selection of Merchandise for souvenirs !
