Laurie is genuinely interested in her patients health. She's comforting and sincere in wanting to know everything about your health history in order to prevent any concerns in the future. Laurie and her staff's goal is to put you first and ensure you're at ease in her office; you're the number one priority to Laurie during your appointment. It's very nice to have a provider that is truly there for you.
I've seen Laurie for years and she is always up to date on her profession. She takes the time to talk to you and listens to your problems and works with you to resolve them. I highly recommend using her as your doctor.

I have been a patient of Laurie's for over 10 years. I moved back to the area a year ago after being away almost 3 years, and before we arrived, I made my annual appointment with Laurie. I had been living in Richmond, VA, had a total hip replacement there, seen OBGYN and a GP for various issues--NONE of them picked up a loud heart murmur that I had, but Laurie did because she listens carefully. She pushed me to get an EKG, and within 2 months I had to have open heart surgery to replace my mitral valve. Laurie saved my life. ... read more
Laurie was friendly, taking her time to gather medical history, and answer any of my questions. I felt like I was the only appointment she had that day. I would highly recommend her for all medical appointments for women.

Laurie Buckwald is great! You feel at ease from the moment she walks into the room. I've been a patient for years, and have always been extremely satisfied with the care that she has provided. You may occassionally have to wait a little longer than anticipated, but this is because Laurie Buckwald does not rush through her patients like they're on an assembly line - which I very much appreciate.
