Laurelhurst Dentistry is one of the best experiences I've had at a dentist. They have great up-to-date equipment, integrity, and they don't try to sell you on work that doesn't need to be done. And they're friendly to boot.
Another LD success story. My hygienist, Taylor, was very informative and knowledgeable, kept me up to date on my dental needs as usual for her. One of the best hygienists I have ever had. Outstanding. Then, I had to talk with Dr. Bennett about having a crown replaced. All went very well and when I went to check out and get my next appointment, they had my insurance costs for the replacement crown at the ready. Laurelhurst Dentistry is a great practice, from the friendly and competent front desk to the thorough and gentle hygienists (Thanks Taylor!) to the skilled and trustworthy doctors (Thanks Dr. Bennett). They are reasonably priced, accommodating of schedules and will honestly assess what you need.
Okay, well someone might, sadly, not me. My family, and I, have been patients at Laurelhurst dentistry for over a decade. I've had more than my fair share of time in the chair. Everyone, from the front desk, to hygienists, to every dentist at Laurelhurst actively strive to make the experience positive, welcoming, and less painful. They clearly communicate, educate, and inform. Their all-around expertise is gratefully paired with unparalleled caring. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
We are finally back with Laurelhurst Dentistry after a year with another dental group due to employer dental coverage. We are so glad to be back. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Having gone there for a decade, I've gotten to know a number of the staff and I always have enjoyable interactions with them. It's a warm, friendly place with a pleasing environment. The dentistry care I get there is excellent. I can't say enough good things about my hygienist - - she's awesome. When I was trying to find a particular product, they went the extra mile looking for it for me. I'm a huge fan of Laurelhurst Dentistry.
I came to Portland from Minnesota, where I had a fabulous dentist I'd been with for almost 20 years. I was concerned that I wouldn't find a dentist that held a candle to my MN dentist...and I'm so happy to say that Dr. Sheila Bennett has calmed my concerns and has been tremendous. My cleanings have evolved from dreaded twice yearly events to “hey, I get to catch up with Kylie today!” events. Seriously, she, Drs. Supnet and Merrill (and all of the Laurelhurst Dentistry staff) have transformed my dental experience into something actually pleasant. Kylie has such a great bedside manner.
