Just wanted to say that my first visit was outstanding. Everything was explained to me and it was crystal clear to me what you were going to do and why. And as far as I can tell or remember I never had a better cleaning experience. She was awesome. I am coming back to have my front teeth fixed. Everyone that I met in the office was just super. Overall you folks are great! Everyone is super sweet. The facilities are very pleasant, and the staff seems top notch. This is my dental office and MD dental for keeps. Could you provide more info about dental care for the patient to use at home? I was diagnosed with periodontal disease, but was given no helpful home care tips at all. Aside from trusting my future to LD and a periodontal specialist, I left with no proactive steps that I might take daily. Great facility and everyone is super sweet and top notch! Definitely a keeper! Loss of one star for not giving me any home care info for my diagnosis, other than trusting in LD and the periodontal specialist. I left feeling sort of hopeless.

After some bad dental experiences friends recommended Laurelhurst in 2006 and I have not looked back! They are a warm and friendly team of women who track and watch what's going on in the mouth, making minimal but effective interventions as needed. When I moved to Portland in 2002, I needed to find a dentist. I happened to work with a guy who had a friend who was a dentist. So I went there. It was a pretty random way to choose a dental practice, but I must say, I think I picked the best. Lynn is my hygienist, and I simply adore her.
