I went through this program for a month, twice. The first time I was pretty unwell but it wasn’t too bad. The next time I went through, I had a great time and did much better because I myself was better. To be upfront, many people who went through were facing homelessness without the intervention of laurel creek. Many of the clients had been homeless in the past. This facility is in need of a major deep cleaning. The carpet stinks, the blinds are broken & dirty, the bathrooms need repairs & extreme deep cleaning, walls need to be wioew down, kitchen towels & sponges need replacing, the groups were like adult day care ex; coloring, making bracelets. Most of the day was spent in my own head & though the staff were nice, they didn't offer any real therapy or counseling. It was more like a day camp for adults with stress.
They are very understanding,they listen whole heartily,and they are willing to help you in any way they can.
