Dr Nasatir is by far the best Psychiatrist in the area she works and I would highly recommend her for anyone struggling with medication-mental health.
My son (10) has always had issues with ADHD and anxiety so I have talked to many mental health professionals and doctors over the years. There have definitely been disappointments but I have never been spoken to the way Dr. Nasatir spoke to me in our last appointment. I can't say enough about how amazing Dr. Nasatir is with her treatment and knowledge of mental health. You will not be disappointed with her.
We took our daughter to Dr Nasatir to treat anxiety at age 11. At first this seemed to be a good fit for everyone. Over time, we realized that the doctor's very strong personality seemed to kind of bulldoze our preteen. This may not have been an issue with someone older, but with an adolescent, this was not a good fit. If the child was being listened to and then interpreted by a trained adult to filter out unreasonable ideas, that would be one thing. She seemed great. But then I forgot the correct date to request my Klonopin (I didn't have the bottle with me), so I accidentally requested it early. Instead of just denying the refill or letting me know, or warning me, she instantly dropped me as a patient. After that her office would not take my calls trying to explain the simple misunderstanding. It was sad because I thought I had found a doctor who was a good fit. It felt very unprofessional.
Dr. Nasatir is very knowledgeable and well informed on current data. She has made an incredible difference for our family diagnosing and treating our children for anxiety. She was also able to identify our daughter’s ADD. I would highly recommend her for treatment.
Dr Nasatir is the first dr to really listen to me. She is concerned and caring about her patients, rare quality in most drs. I highly recommend dr Nasatir, my experiences with Dr Nasatir have been very positive.
I have recommended Dr. Nasatir to friends because I know they'll get good, competent care with her. She is thorough, careful, stays current on the literature, is easy to talk to, and she's straightforward with me. She has always been on time for our appointments, and I've been seeing her for several years. I've had several psychiatrists over the years because of moves and insurance changes, so I know what to look for. She's honest, helpful, and listens well, which I really appreciate.
I would highly recommend Dr. Nasatir to anybody who just wants to talk with a professional with a heart. I have much experience in the medical/psychiatric profession and she stands above the many others. She really does listen and care. She is very knowledgeable in many areas. She is very kind and giving and will do her best to help you.
