She really seems to think Over the counter meds seem to work. Despite published reports of those causing kidney damage she says “I just read that online it’s not coming from medical professionals “ . I told her they do not work at all for me. I openly admit not to following the Gerd diet. I’m rail thin. I have to eat high fat stuff just to maintain weight.
She was disrespectful and has poor listening skills. In my opinion, she doesn't have what it takes to be a medical staff at Virginia Mason. She treated me like I was her major interruption to her day. She gave me false information about other GI clinics' what they do and don't. When I tried to explain to her about my problem, she constantly cut me off and said 'I'm not gonna argue with you' even before I finish my sentences. She's very thorough and I felt heard which can be difficult, I have MS and it has affected my speech. She was terrific and I appreciated that
The physician assistant provided a wealth of information that I had not received before, listened well, and recommended a clear path forward for treatment of the main issues I was looking to address. She had clear reasons for her interpretations and recommendations. It was the most satisfying interaction I have had since I began having symptoms over five years ago.
