Dr. Mills has been my dentist for over 20 years. I have nothing but great praise for her knowledge and professionalism. I am familiar with the dental field and I can honestly recommend Dr. Mills for most dental procedure, especially cosmetic ones.
Have had three very painful crowns put in by this dentist. Two had to be replaced in less than two years, the third is now falling apart and on it's way out. Our new dentist claims the materials used were "cheap" and poorly designed. Also, she would say, and I quote; "Awe that didn't hurt!", everytime it did!
Dr. Mills has been my dentist for nearly 10 years. She performs beautiful work as evidenced by my veneer and bridge work. She makes going to the dentist as enjoyable as the experience can be...I usually don't look forward to dentist visits otherwise.
It is unfortunate when you leave a dentist not because of poor work, but because of the office management and policies. That is exactly what happened in my case. I do love Dr. Mills and she has done great work on my teeth, but I was charged a $107.00 missed appointment fee for a cleaning. I understand that dentists have to recoup some amount for a missed appointment, but $107.00! I mean, this seems extremely excessive. Very good facilities, friendly staff...however the billing and bookeeping procedures are flawed. High rates with procedures billed to insc. company that were not performed.. much work involved to get matter resolved.
The facilities and the treatment was excellent. However, the charges were very high. My insurance company rated the charges as "Exceeds reasonable and customary." Also, Dr. Mills recommend four fillings - when I went to get a second opinion, the other doctor said I needed none. Hmm...
I can't believe people would actually say things of that nature about Dr. Mills office and staff. Everytime I have had an appointment it has been pleasent one. The staff is wonderful and always goes above and beyond for me. I have the most beautiful smile thanks to Dr. Mills. She has changed my life, I have confidence now. Dr. Mills takes the most advanced coarses to stay on top of latest techniques and products out there today. Give the office a try, you will not be disappointed.
I agree with patient review#2 - you cannot get customer service from these folks!! I am still trying to get answers on my bill from July! I will say that Dr Mills is top notch and had been my long time dentist for over 10 years, but her office staff is the worst I have EVER experienced. Had to have a crown replaced THREE TIMES!!!! Then after THIRD replacement recieved a bill for repair!!! Complained about bill they stated they would zero out the balance. A month later, I got a past due bill!!! Not to mention every single time it was extremely painful. Crummy, painful, dental work. The materials they use are cheap. I will never to this dentist again.
