I recently moved to the Mars Hill area and have been a longtime Laundry & Tan Connection customer. Since I didn’t want to drive across town anymore, I decided to give this location a try—and I’m so glad I did! The store was very clean, the machines were spotless and in excellent condition, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. What really stood out to me was something I witnessed while I was there. I have been to Laundry and Tan locations all over Indianapolis metro and this one on Kentucky Ave is BY FAR the nicest, cleanest and best maintained location I have been to in the past 7 years living here. Sure, the building and equipment are nice and clean, the mens room was cleaner than my own and not a single burnt out light bulb in the place (lol) but the staff was a hoot. Extremely clean facility, but it appears they have staffing issues. No one showed up to open this location at 7:00am and there were several customers waiting with me. A few gave up and just left after waiting. One shared that this is the 4th time this has happened at this location. I tried their store phone line which rang busy, tried calling the other stores and after multiple attempts finally got someone at their Madison store to let them know. My experience was so bad they are so rude with the people , I was at the laundromat at 10:10 and they told me I couldn't do laundry. I didn't know you couldn't do it after 10:30, but they treated me badly. Then someone else arrived later, around 10:40, and they didn't say anything to that person.
I love this laundry and tan!! Its clean and the people are nice and do whatever they can (within reason) for the customers! Even the tanning beds are cleaner than even some of the other laundry and tan connections I've been to!!!
